Dr. Bernard Kadio, MD, MPH

Dr. Bernard Kadio, MD, MPH, has been a long-time researcher for different research institutions. He has conducted an extensive work on major public health issues since 2007, in Africa, in Europe and in the Americas.

Former Intern at the French Agency for Space Medicine (MEDES), in Toulouse, France, and one of the winners of The Emerging Voices Awards (EV2010) of the Belgian Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) in Antwerp, Dr. Kadio is also member of a Thematic Working Group (TWG) of Health Systems Global affiliated with the World Health Organization.

He is now conducting a multicenter doctoral research on the molecular mechanisms of prostate cancer disparities at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is also the current Director for Africa of the charity health organization, People to People.
